Motorized Positioning Stages and Platforms

Microscope stages and platforms are pieces of equipment designed to secure and position a specimen for microscopy. These stages can either be position manually or are motorized. Motorized microscope stages precisely and automatically position specimens along two separate horizontal axes (X and Y) under a microscope. It is because of this that these models are also referred to as motorized XY stages. Those with 3-axes of movement are referred to as XYZ stages.
