Nitrogen Evaporator

Nitrogen evaporators are used to prepare samples for analysis. Used in many industries, such as food, biotechnology, analytical chemistry, petroleum, and environmental sciences, nitrogen evaporators dry and concentrate samples so that tests like mass spectrometry, gas chromatography, and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) can be performed on them. Samples are loaded into the nitrogen evaporator and then nitrogen blowdown is used, sometimes in conjunction with heat, to rid the sample of moisture. There are variations among nitrogen evaporators, including how many sample positions it contains, whether it uses wet or dry baths, if it needs hood space or not, and whether it provides heat as well as nitrogen blowdown to evaporate the samples.

DescriptionIts time-tested technology, proven construction, and user-friendly experience are what makes Organomation’s 24 position N-EVAP® its most popular instrument. This compact, robust unit offers double the capacity of the 12 position N-EVAP®, yet requires minimal bench space. The dual band spring hoist ... Read MoreIdeal for batch processing, the 100 position MULTIVAP® nitrogen evaporator uses a heated water bath to reach evaporative temperatures ranging from 30°C to 100°C. The manifold delivers nitrogen gas to the needles or glass pipettes, which direct the gas onto the sample’s surface. This method results ... Read MoreIdeal for batch processing, the 30 position MULTIVAP® uses a heated aluminum dry block to reach timed evaporative temperatures ranging from 30°C to 120°C. This method results in rapid solvent evaporation. The sample block inserts are customized for the user’s sample size for maximum and even heat ... Read MoreOrganomation’s 45 position N-EVAP® nitrogen evaporator offers the largest number of sample positions in its N-EVAP line. The sample holder has dual circular rings. The outer ring has 30 positions and can accommodate samples with an outside diameter of 10-19 mm. The inner ring has 15 positions and ...
