Methane Gas Analyzer (CH4 Analyzer)

Methane gas analyzers are instruments or devices used to detect and quantify methane (CH4) gas concentrations in a given sample or used to continuously monitor methane emissions from a point source. Being the second most prevalent greenhouse gas, methane gas analyzers are used extensively in the environmental industry as well as having uses in the oil and gas industry and numerous others. CH4 analyzers are available in a range of configurations from standard laboratory instruments that utilize chromatography or spectroscopy, to standalone units that continuously monitor an emissions source. For laboratories that are conducting compliance testing for programs such as EPA emissions, chromatography options will typically provide the accuracy and low detection limits required. For industrial applications and continuous emissions monitoring applications, a standalone unit is a great balance of accuracy, ease of use, detection limits, and cost.
