NIR Analyzer / Near Infrared Analyzers

Near Infrared (NIR) analysis is a spectroscopic technique that utilizes the NIR region of the electromagnetic spectrum or the wavelengths between 700nm and 2500nm. NIR analysis has many applications including food, agricultural, environmental, chemical and pharmaceutical science. Using little to no sample preparation, it is a non-destructive technology. A near-infrared spectrum is obtained by passing light through a sample and determining the fraction absorbed by the sample. Additionally, info obtained from reflected light can also be used for analysis. Considerations for purchase is the wavelength needed for your specific application.
