A lab water system (or laboratory water purification system) provides a consistent, pure, and adjustable source of water essential for many laboratory experiments. There are a variety of laboratory water systems, including deionized water systems, high flow lab water systems, reagent grade water systems, reverse osmosis water purification systems, and ultrapure water systems. A high and low flow (and ultra-pure) water system regulates a continuous water flow of up to 12L/minute, purifying the water with ion exchange systems and reverse osmosis to achieve up to 18.2 megOhms of resistance; equipped with 0.22-0.2 micron ultra filters to remove pyrogen, endotoxin, RNase and DNase. Laboratory water purification systems can also employ UV radiation to eliminate microorganisms. A laboratory water system can either draw water directly from the tap or from an accompanying reservoir. Lab water systems can be customizable, and meet NCCLS, ASTM, and cap specifications for Type 1 water.

AFS® D systems combine complementary water purification techniques; Complete pretreatment, advanced reverse osmosis (RO), Q-Gard® polishing pack, AFS® D Systems provide a cost-effective, low maintenance water purification solution for analyzers with degassed pure water needs up to 320 L daily.
AFS® D systems combine complementary water purification techniques; Complete pretreatment, advanced reverse osmosis (RO), Q-Gard® polishing pack, exposure to a bactericidal UV lamp, degassing, and final 0.22 µm filtration ensure a reliable and consistent water quality. Water produced by the systems complies with the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute® (CLSI) guideline for clinical laboratory reagent water (CLRW). Depending on daily volume needs, different production flow rates are available (8 and 16 L/h).

Super-Q® Plus systems consistently produce ultrapure water quality which exceeds Type 1 ASTM/CAP/CLSI specifications. The Super-Q® Plus water system features a modular design for the production of ultrapure water. It has an hourly automatic recirculation of water to maintain water quality between uses. Because Super-Q® water is produced "on demand", there is no need to store water and risk degrading its quality over time. ... Read More |
