PFAS Analysis

During the Metrohm USA (Riverview, FL) press conference, attendees had the opportunity to view their Profiler Total Fluorine Analyzer. This technology stood out as a potential environmental gamechanger enabling the highest performing AOF analysis in wastewaters. This novel PFAS research tool ensures rapid quantification of the full impact of PFAS. As the topic of PFAS analysis continues to increase globally, the Profiler Total Fluorine Analyzer will certainly be a technology to look out for in the environmental science sector.

They presented the new Milli-Q® EQ 7000 water purification system that incorporates agile dispensing and consistent quality ultrapure water. For food, environmental, and just about everyone applications that depend on high-grade water availability, this new system is a must to check out.

Sample Preparation

Millipore Sigma showcased their Supel™ BioSPME 96-Pin devices shined as a key sample preparation method for plasma protein binding analyses. This technology offers a 3x faster workflow compared to rapid equilibrium dialysis-based methods and configures with automation and manual operation.

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences

Environmental Monitoring

Beckman Coulter Life Science (Indianapolis, IN) presented the MET ONE 3400+ air particle counter featuring automated routine environmental monitoring for cleanrooms to reduce human error. The counter enables the user to load a sampling map directly into it. This enables the creation of an interactive map that guides users doing daily sampling.

LECO Corporation

CHN Determination

LECO Corporation (St. Joseph, MI) demonstrated their 828 Series CHN Determinator, revealing an impressive system for handling carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen samples. Capable of rapid analysis times and rugged automation and optimized uptime. The CHN828 is set to improve a wide range of applications including food, agricultural, environmental and petrochemical.
