Shimadzu’s UV-1900i Plus double-beam spectrophotometer offers an exceptional balance of performance and value. Resolution of 1 nm -
In addition to achieving a resolution of 1 nm, the highest in its class, by using a monochromator with a Czerny-Turner mounting, the UV-1900i also features a compact, bright optical system.
Ultrafast Scanning -
Spectra can be acquired as fast as 29,000 nm/min, making it possible to acquire high-accuracy spectra in just a few seconds and observe more detailed behavior.
Easy-to-Use Interface -
The UV-1900i Plus on-screen user interface includes large, easy-to-see icons providing a clear picture of the instrument settings on the display. In addition, the large, easy-to-see icons improve intuitive understanding, which enables users to quickly become familiar with the operations.
Navigation Tabs Improve Usability -
In quantitation mode on the UV-1900i Plus, the stages of the entire measurement process and the current status are always shown on the display. As a result, users know immediately what to do in the next step.
Analytical Intelligence -
The system incorporates Analytical Intelligence functions for improved operation. The Assist Function notifies the user when attempting to implement measurements without making necessary corrections, helping to ensure analyses are performed using the correct procedure. By specifying various evaluation criteria for measurement results, the Spectral Evaluation Function enables spectra judgments to be made automatically. The Shutdown/Wakeup Function allows the instrument to be put into sleep mode, limiting power consumption, and be set to wake up automatically at a specified time, enabling analysis to start the instant the user arrives at the laboratory.
The UV-1900i Plus system can also pair with Shimadzu’s software compliance package to provide total data integrity, user administration and audit trails to full compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
