Description
The compact UV-2700i Plus is a double monochromator system offering ultra-low stray light (0.00002 %). This model can measure high absorbance levels up to 8 Abs, allowing it to measure low transmittance levels in highly concentrated samples, films, or other samples with low transmittance characteristics.
Validation software is provided as standard for the instrument, so equipment performance can be easily checked in daily inspections and when data accuracy becomes a concern.
Features:
- Equipped with an ultra-low stray light double monochromator, capable of 8-Abs measurements
-
Uses the Shimadzu proprietary Lo-Ray-Ligh grade diffraction grating
-
A compact 450 mm width size, reducing the required installation space by 28 %
-
Achieves 10 % energy savings compared to other Shimadzu systems
-
Validation software is included as standard
-
Freely expandable to suit the measurement objective
-
Automated data processing
The system incorporates Analytical Intelligence functions for improved operation. The Assist Function notifies the user when attempting to implement measurements without making necessary corrections, helping to ensure analyses are performed using the correct procedure. By specifying various evaluation criteria for measurement results, the Spectral Evaluation Function enables spectra judgments to be made automatically. The Shutdown/Wakeup Function allows the instrument to be put into sleep mode, limiting power consumption, and be set to wake up automatically at a specified time, enabling analysis to start the instant the user arrives at the laboratory.
LabSolutions UV-Vis control software is included with the UV-2700i Plus. Measurement modes include photometric, spectrum, quantitation, kinetics, time course and bio-methods. Optional software programs are available. With a proper software compliance package, the UV-2700i Plus and the software setup can provide total data integrity and full support for Pharmacopeia (JP, USP and EP), GLP/GMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and other regulations.
