Description
High Capacity Floor Model Automated Wet Chemistry Platform The SmartChem
® 800 is a fully automated, high-capacity wet chemistry platform engineered for high-demand commercial and environmental laboratories. It consolidates high-throughput photometric and electrochemical analysis into a single instrument, with up to 800 samples loaded at once and a throughput of up to 600 tests per hour. Its large sample capacity, microliter reaction system, and model-dependent cooling options support long, uninterrupted walk-away workflows. The series includes three models: the SmartChem® 800 (standard), the 810 (with reagent cooling), and the 820 (with reagent and sample cooling)
Features - High-throughput, multi-parametric analysis: up to 600 tests/hour and up to 800 samples on board.
- Dual-beam UV/Vis photometer with 9 wavelengths, expandable to 16 via optional filter set.
- Model-depende
- nt sample and reagent cooling for stability during long unattended runs (810 and 820).
- Fully automated start-up, shutdown, and workflow execution, including IF/THEN conditional sequences with true random access.
- Reusable technical-polymer cuvettes with monitored, programmable wash cycle for low consumable cost.
- Integrated sample barcode reader (optional reagent barcode reader); full LIMS integration via CLSI LIS02-A2 (ASTM E1394).
- Optional EC module (pH, conductivity, ORP) and NO3 reduction module.
Benefits: - Higher efficiency and throughput through automation, true random access, and long walk-away sequences.
- Reduced reagent consumption and waste via microliter-scale reactions and reusable technical-polymer cuvettes.
- Reliable, reproducible results with validated ready-to-use SmartChem reagents and stable dual-beam UV/Vis photometry.
- Enhanced automation and traceability with optional barcode readers and full LIMS integration.
- Automated out-of-range retesting and intelligent decision-making reduce manual handling.
- Extended analytical workflows with optional pH, conductivity, ORP, and nitrate reduction modules.
