Description
The 100 Position MULTIVAP is a water bath model designed for evaporating large batches of small volume samples. The samples are held in an expertly machined rack, customized specifically for the user's tube size. The racks can accommodate a range of tubes from 11 to 22 mm OD. Additional racks are available for those who are using multiple tube sizes (Catalog# NA1361). This unit also comes standard with a needle guide to effortlessly center the distribution manifold over small tubes.
This MULTIVAP combines gentle heating of a water bath with nitrogen blowdown. The bath ranges from 30°C to 100°C and is easily controlled by a digital temperature controller. The water bath provides even heating and optimal heat transfer to all samples, leading to efficient evaporation. The gas flow is also easily controlled by an adjustable flow meter and a built in pressure reducing regulator. The nitrogen distribution manifold offers continuous and evenly dispersed gas flow to each sample position through stainless steel needles. The manifold also has a toggle switch for every row of ten samples, allowing each row to be shut off when not in use, which conserves nitrogen.
