Description
E-Gel Power Snap Systems are compact benchtop instruments that have integrated nucleic acid electrophoresis and gel imaging functionalities. The instrument has two main components: the instrument device base and the camera to capture gel images. The instrument works with precast E-Gel agarose gels, which are buffer-less gels containing SYBR safe DNA stains, and ladders. This eliminates the need to pour gels, prepare buffers, and handle toxic dyes such as ethidium bromide.
The new E-Gel™ Power Snap Lite system is designed for routine nucleic acid verification workflows and compact lab environments, while the E-Gel™ Power Snap Plus system supports more advanced analysis workflows with higher-resolution imaging and expanded throughput capabilities.
