Freezing Chamber for Cryopreservation of Primary Cells and Cell Lines

This freezing chamber is a great product for reliable cryopreservation of all cell types. After resuspending cells in desired freezing media, the cryovials are placed in the chamber and any empty spots should be filled in with tubes containing an equal volume of water. The Cool Cell is then placed at -80C and the temperature inside decreases at a constant rate of 1C/minute, and can be transferred to liquid nitrogen the next day. One of the great aspects to this product compared to others is no alcohol is required to be added to the chamber. Viability of thawed cells is consistent after using this product.
