The NanoDrop is our first choice when we need to make high concentration measurements on small samples. We can make these measurements in a short amount of time with very small sample volumes, and the results are still correct. Loading and cleaning of samples is also easy and straightforward. It has a high throughput, no dilutions, and several reading positions, but it also uses a very restricted sample size. We've achieved results that are comparable to those obtained using staining and fluorometric methods, but at a lower cost and with a faster throughput.
