Plentiful Capabilities but Not Fast

The Sciex Triple Quad 3500 System is capable of analyzing 100s of chemical compounds. This instrument is especially suitable for detection of pesticides in low (ppb) levels in food/cannabis samples. The software is not the most intuitive, but the capabilities are plentiful. Customer support is not the best, and method development is a lengthy process. There are lots of maintenance issues with this instrument. Another important note: if your lab has noticeable temperature fluctuations throughout the day, your results will shift throughout the day. Also, depending on how many analytes you run, the run time for each sample can take upwards of 25-30 minutes per sample. Not a fast analysis!
