Cryotomy Tissue Embedding Compound

This frozen section media from Leica Biosystems is used for embedding tissues for frozen/cryo sectioning with a cryotome. Before embedding in freezing media the tissue should be processed in sucrose solution with increasing concentration 15% to 30%. This prevents the tissue from freeze damaging. This FSC22 media's working temperature is -20 deg and it is available as a blue coloured and clear transparent solution.
