Floating Bath for Microtome Sectioning

This Thermoline floating bath is used in microtome assisted paraffin sectioning for unrolling and unwrinkling the sections, which occurs during sectioning. At least seven to eight paraffin ribbons containing 7-10 sections can be allowed to float at a time in this 7 liter floating bath. For long maintenance, discard the water, clear, dry and turn off. The bath is illuminated with a white light, which will assist to check if the section is completely flat for mounting on a glass slide. Since it is a simple and straightforward floating bath, it doesn't have lot of cons.
