The name of the kit could lead to a mistake. We measured viability of S. cerevisiae and the results were reliable. Not the same for other wine yeast, such as S. bacillaris, whose cells appeared all dead even if they were not. No suggestion about the protocol modification from the technical assistance of the seller.
