Actually, there are four different types of models of the LM series. We are using the LM110 series because it is one of the best budget instruments for hardness testing. This series model is generally suitable for low-volume labs. We are using this tool for measuring the hardness of different metals for industry research work like Aluminum, Brass, Bronze, and Stainless Steel. The test force measurement capabilities of this instrument are 1 gf to 1000 gf which is quite good for our work.
