Vortex Genie 2
We've had a Vortex Genie 2 for over 10 years now. I just recently did the annual validation and the RPM is still very precise. Without any load, it doesn't do a good job at keeping RPM consistent. That's not really an issue because you'll never validate it without a load. With a foam insert and a microplate, it was dead on with the set RPM and maintained it the entire time. With a foam insert and a microplate its RPM maxed out at 900.
This is definitely one of those pieces of equipment that is simple, but lasts a long time. Furthermore, the customer service and tech support team is very friendly and helpful. I'm a huge fan of this equipment and the team that supports it.
