The Freeze Cube can be used for transferring newly prepared cryovials of cells to -80°C for controlled freezing. I like that this chamber is able to accommodate taller 2 mL cryovials with the lid still fitting on. The capacity for 30 vials enables larger batches of freeze downs with only one chamber, and it requires no alcohol.
