Though these plates are for the purpose of tissue culture, I have used them for the initial steps of my transformation experiment. It was used to germinate the seedlings efficiently by simply putting them inside the growth chamber which are the key steps for the success of any transformation experiment. Best part is it doesn't need sterilization and can be used directly. Very cost effective and not temperature sensitive.
