Essential consumable to use with the Covaris Focused Sonication systems. We used it with the S220 machine and they performed excellently. The fiber included in the tube drastically increases the sonication efficiency compare to the normal tubes where the liquid absorbs much of the wave force by turning around. We were able to use more gentle sonication conditions (very low SDS concentration and mild/low sonication parameters) and obtain better ChIP results.
