We used the ELISA to study different chemokine secretion from LPS-stimulated BV-2 cells and the impact of autotaxin inhibition on extracellular accumulation of these analytes. The ELISA kit from PeproTech works extremely well for a non-precoated ELISA. Very cheap compared to a series of relevant precoated ELISAs, providing reproducible results. The only disadvantage is that you need to coat the plate, adding an extra day to the assay.
