This digital dry bath from Thermo Fischer is very useful for protein sample denaturation which is usually carried out between 95-100 deg C for 5 to 10 mins. The higher temperature limit of this is 130 deg C. This equipment is also used for DNA extraction from mouse tails for genotyping using the XNAT kit.
