DMSO for Cell Freezing

DMSO (Dimethyl sulfoxide) is widely used for freezing cells and pharmacological molecule preparation. I use it with FBS (Foetal bovin serum) with 10% DMSO which avoids cell explosion during the freezing process. It's easy to use in sterile condition and protect the cells during this process with low cell death after defreezing. As a chemical solvent, it works well.
