Magnetic Beads for Immunopurification

I've been using these anti-HA magnetic microbeads (size 1µM) for a few years now. After preparing my cell extracts, I put my lysates in the presence of these beads to extract the proteins of interest. It's a relatively rapid process requiring 3 steps. The first is a rinsing step, which requires the microbeads to be thoroughly mixed before use. This is followed by protein binding (incubation times vary according to the size of the protein of interest) and elution (with pH, glycine, or peptides).
