I am using these sterile tubes to freeze my cell samples. I used them with HEK-293 (Human Embryonic Kidney Cells) and THP-1 Cells (Human Monocytic Cell Line). I have never had any cell contamination. Also, I have never had any problem with these tubes while I keep them in liquid nitrogen during the cell storage process.
