Efficient Buffer to Lyse Red Blood Cells from PBMCs

When I receive fresh blood, I usually perform a separation to get only PBMCs for my experiments. But sometimes, a significant amount of red blood cells still remain and might impact my cell count but also my experiments due to my non precise cell count. So when this occurs, I just centrifuge my cells and resuspend them in few milliliters of this solution, I incubate at room temperature for 15 minutes, I centrifuge, wash in PBS and then there is no red blood cells anymore with my PBMCs. You can clearly notice this visually but also when you count your cells. Very easy-to-use product.
