I perform a lot of electroporation experiments, especially with CRSIPR-Cas9 RiboNucleoProtein (RNP) complex. I use different cell lines to do so such as HEK, immortalized B cells but also primary T cells and iPSCs. Having a good viability after electroporation is essential with primary cells to be able to expand them after genetic edition for example. And thanks to this kit, the viability of my cells after electroporation is way better than it was with the kit I used to work with. To use this product, I personally take 1 million cells per condition in a buffer volume of 20 microliters.
