I have been using these centrifugal filters for a while now to purify my samples. These Amicon Ultra are very easy to use, can put up to 500 µl of samples in the filter and it can easily fit inside the Eppendorf Microcentrifuge. As far as I can tell, every test I have performed on these purified samples (with the Amicon Filter) has shown good results with no contamination or pollution, proving that the Amicon Filtration improves the purity/quality of the sample.
