During the western blot transfer stage, I use these pre-cut fiber transfer pads. Using these thick papers (1.5 mm thick) allows the sandwiches to be tight and prevents the membrane from moving. With one pad, you can cut it out to use it on a sandwich. It’s easy to use and cheap. I highly recommended it.
