I recommend these sterile cryotubes for freezing cell samples. The special base design allows vials to be locked into a cryogenic rack and I like to use them for the round self-standing bottom. The polypropylene material of these cryotubes can withstand temperatures of -196°C. I never had a fluid leak with them.
