Easy Glycolysis Assay Kit

Energy metabolism of microglia were studied with glycolysis assay kit. This kit measures the lactate secreted in the media by the cells treated with various substances. The enzymatic reaction of lactate results in pyruvate and NADH. This is measured in terms of the intensity of dye color. This in turn gives the measurement of glycolytic rate of the cells. I used this kit to study the glycolytic rate of microglia in response to LPA (activator) over various course of time. The kit is sensitive, hence I diluted the sample to 1:20 to get the measurement within the range of detection.
