We have a 24-slot, 1.5 mL tube holding rotor in this centrifuge. This is not a temperature controlled centrifuge. We have been using this centrifuge for over 5 years and never had a hardware problem. We did experience errors (2-3 times) over this time period but they got resolved after restarting the unit. It is relatively quiet and a great product.
