4 to 12% Bis-Tris Gels for SDS-PAGE

I prefer these gels when I need to resolve multiple proteins of varying sizes on the same gel. I work with a protein complex that contains three proteins of ~300 kDa, ~60 kDa, and ~20 kDa. This gel beautifully resolves all three proteins and even the large sized protein is efficiently transferred to nitrocellulose membrane (3 h wet transfer method) for immunoblotting purposes. When stored at 4 deg C these gels last for ~1 year.
