Kin-Tek Gas Blender/Permeation

I’ve been utilizing the KIN-TEK Analytical FlexStream™ System for over four years now. The system has been crucial in allowing me to perform my required calibration validation and verifications with difficult analytes. My main application is to calibrate instruments with gas standards, which are either hard to source or too difficult for other companies to handle. However, KIN-TEK offers an extensive catalog of Trace Source™ Disposable Permeation Tubes at many different emission rates depending on your unique application, which the FlexStream™ uses. The FlexStream™ is highly customizable and can be made or changed to connect to your gas analyzer instruments. There are quite a few communication options to choose from, and I utilize KIN-TEK’s FlexLink software to remotely control the standby, zero or span functions of the instrument. I would recommend KIN-TEK’s systems for those who are looking for a way to calibrate or perform validation studies on gas analyzer/dilution systems. Their sales team is incredibly helpful and fast to respond with any questions you may have. The technical support is also easy to reach and provides adequate troubleshooting detail. If I had to balance this review with a piece of constructive criticism, I would offer that the instrument manual is generic and won’t necessarily cover the specific system you may be working with. The piping and instrumentation diagram included in the operating manual isn’t quite accurate, and I would reach out to KIN-TEK for an updated one.
