Good Spinner Flask for Suspension Cells, but Easily Contaminated

Good flask for secreted protein production with suspension cells. The system is stirring very well, but the porous coating of the magnet is not excellent, since it is very prone to rusty and/or housing of contaminant microorganisms even after autoclave. We replaced the magnet with a better (mostly the coating) one of 13mm diameter and the problem is solved!
