Excellent to host 4 ELISA plates with orbital shaking, but you can scale up if you pile them. The structure is very solid and the control knobs are large enough to do the job to modulate the speed. Small limitation: the stirrer doesn't have a lock to dock and secure the plates when using heavy stirring. In our experience, some tape does the trick.
