TAE Buffer (Tris-acetate-EDTA) (50X)
We used Thermo Scientific 50X TAE buffer to prepare 1X working solution for agarose gel electrophoresis in order to analyze PCR-amplified DNA fragments and genomic DNA digests. The buffer provided consistent DNA migration and resolution, which was critical for downstream cloning and verification steps. We chose this product for its reliability, convenience, and compatibility with downstream applications like gel extraction. I would recommend it for routine DNA electrophoresis, especially when maintaining DNA integrity is important. As of now I do not find any cons with the buffer. It works great!
