Reliable PCR Machine With Good Memory, Ability to Save and Run Protocols on 2 Different Blocks

This Biorad thermocycler is a powerful and dependable workhorse. We have used these machines for over 6 years with minimal to no issues. The machines provide the ability to edit and save hundreds of protocols, provide ability to run touch-down PCRs, and cool samples down to 4C after completing a run. One drawback is that over time the touch sensitivity decreases and the machine controls lag, but the machine is still usable. Lastly, the organization of the protocols into separate folders was lacking, making the protocol options more cluttered and difficult to select.
