The Flex robot is the base of a modular system that includes pipettes, a labware gripper, on-deck modules, and labware; all of which you can swap out yourself. Flex is designed with a touchscreen so you can work with it directly at the lab bench, or you can control it from across your lab with the Opentrons App or our open-source APIs.
With the Flex NGS Workstation, you can automate your NGS workflow at the scale you need, using any leading reagent system on the market. This workstation enables scientists to:

Automate up to 48 samples with a 2 x 8-Channel configuration and up to 96 samples with the 96-Channel pipette configuration.
