We manufacture replacement parts for the GE Akta series FPLC systems. We use the PerkinElmer FTIR to analyze materials so that we can order the correct material. The attached photo shows the spectra of a piece that is made from PTFE. PerkinElmer has been making FTIRs for a long time and the instruments last a long time and are very reliable. We recommend Perkin Elmer FTIRs to many of our customers.
