She was appointed to the General Manager of Korea Life Sciences Group in Themo Fisher Scientific in February 2014. SooJin was appointed to the General Manager position of Korea in Life Technologies in February 2012. She has served as the County Manager in both Abbott Korea Ltd. and Haemonetics Korea, Inc.     Seojin Kim joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2011 as Field Application Engineer. She has over 19 years of experience in exploring SEM and FIB technologies. Currently, she is the Manager of Application Scientists, focusing on both Material Science and Life Science, and leads NanoPort in Korea. For the past 2 years, she has managed the NanoPort and provided demo support.

    Seojin has worked to demonstrate the excellence of Thermo Fisher's equipment to a diverse range of customers, including those in the semiconductor and battery industries, as well as other fields requiring electron microscopy analysis. Recently, she has been focusing on the increasing demand for automation using FIB. In the SEM field, she is addressing the growing need for analytical equipment, beyond just imaging. Seojin he received her BS in Chemical Engineering (2003) and her MS in Chemical Engineering (2005), both from Gachon University in Korea.

With a career spanning over two decades, Hansun has held pivotal roles in leading organizations, contributing significantly to the fields of chromatography, inorganic analysis, and battery analysis. Currently, Hansun serves as the Senior Application Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he manages the application scientist team. In this role, he leads and supports the Battery Advanced Solutions Center, leveraging deep expertise in chromatography to advance battery technologies.

    Hansun holds a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from the university, where he developed flow field flow fractionation techniques and applied them to protein, particulate polymer and liposome separation. Previous experience as an application chemist at analytical instrument companies has laid the groundwork for his current role, particularly in developing various analytical methods for the chemical materials, semiconductor, electrical and electronics, and battery industries. He has extensive experience in organic compounds analysis of key battery materials such as electrolytes, separators, and binders. This expertise is instrumental in developing the necessary analytical techniques for battery analysis, supporting the advancement of battery technology solutions. With a comprehensive background in analytical chemistry and a proven track record of leadership in battery analysis, Hansun is dedicated to driving the future of battery innovations and supporting the development of cutting-edge solutions in the industry.
