Olympus Announces 50kV DELTA DP-4050 Handheld XRF Analyzer Compliance with RED Act

Waltham, MA, USA-November 1, 2012: Olympus NDT is pleased to announce that the 50kV powered DELTA DP-4050 Handheld X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) Analyzer for Environmental, Geochemical, Mining, and Exploration applications is now available for use in Canada. This newly available DELTA DP-4050 Handheld XRF design with its special brass probe head, used in conjunction with the DELTA probe shield, gives outstanding performance while satisfying the requirements of the Radiation Emitting Devices (RED) Act.

Olympus 40kV powered DELTA Handheld XRF Analyzers, as well as the closed-beam GoldXpert, X-5000 Portable XRF, Terra Portable X-ray Diffraction (XRD) Analyzer, and BTX Benchtop XRD Analyzer are all in compliance with the RED Act.
