CAMBRIDGE, UK, March 10, 2014 – Grant Instruments Ltd., a UK manufacturer of precision temperature control and sample preparation equipment has been named the winner of the VWR UK Supplier of the Year Award for 2013 by VWR International Ltd, a solutions provider of laboratory supplies and services.
The VWR UK Supplier of the Year Award recognize suppliers who deliver significant sales growth, outstanding customer and technical service, product training and sales support to VWR’s UK organization. The award was presented to Ludo Chapman, Managing Director, Grant, at a VWR UK supplier reception dinner in Leicester.
Presenting the award, Eilidh Robertson (VWR Sales Director for the UK) outlined the reasons for the Award:
“The UK Supplier of the Year award is awarded to the supplier that has shown significant growth and exceptional commitment in terms of technical and operational support throughout 2013 to VWR. Grant has seen growth of over 20% through the UK in 2013 and is already showing considerable growth again in 2014.
Grant proactively works with the sales team, logistics, operations and customer service teams in the UK. They host monthly up-dates calls with key members of the VWR team, they actively manage back orders for VWR, they closely assist in monitoring our pipeline opportunities for their products and support VWR in the field on a continual basis.”
