Ultra Protection, Ultra Efficient, Ultra Capacity: The NEW Thermo Scientific HERAfreeze

Introducing Outstanding Sample Protection, Optimized Footprint and Energy Efficiency with the NEW Thermo Scientific HERAfreeze

Horsham, PA (August 2011) ‐ Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. unveiled the NEW Thermo Scientific HERAfreeze portfolio of chest and upright ultra low freezers. The flagship HFU T Series portfolio of Ultra Low Freezers provides outstanding sample protection, higher energy efficiency and a larger capacity per footprint, suiting any lab storage or space requirements. Outstanding thermal performance is achieved without compromising sample integrity by utilizing outstanding door opening recovery and temperature uniformity. Fully equipped with a LCD touch screen user interface and state‐of‐the‐art monitoring and logging system the HFU T Series can provide vital freezer information to the researcher such as an event log, health monitoring and access controls. The on‐board storage enables over 15 years of temperature and event data to be stored and accessed when needed. With the increased level of environmental consciousness found in most labs these units also feature two modes of refrigeration one for high performance where ultra tight temperature uniformity is required and one for energy savings which can save up to 15% in energy usage compared to high performance mode.

The NEW Thermo Scientific HERAfreezeAn innovative new cabinet design and vacuum panel insulation technology provides increased internal capacity per footprint over previous generation freezers. Flexibility is achieved with 5 sizes to choose from ranging from 300 to 700 box capacities. A full line of optional stainless steel inventory storage solutions and LN2 or CO2 backup systems are available to meet your customized to your storage needs.
