Eppendorf North America wins Artel Pipetting Olympics during the 2011 AACC

Eppendorf North America, Inc. Hauppauge, NY, September 2011. Eppendorf North America is proud to announce a victory in the Artel Pipetting Olympics at the 2011 AACC in Atlanta! Participants in the Pipetting Olympics were encouraged to use the pipette they felt most comfortable with and attempt to achieve the lowest coefficient of variation, indicating the greatest precision in volume dispenses resulting from proper technique.

During two days of the show, the Pipetting Olympics participant achieving the lowest scores (and the Gold medal!) did so using an Eppendorf Research® plus pipette and an Eppendorf Reference® pipette. Additionally, the lowest overall CV for the entire conference was attained using the Research plus pipette! Winners of the competition were awarded the pipette they used to win the medal as well as other prizes and gift cards that were provided by Artel.
