FDA Grant Awarded to Eligo for Harmonized Data Study from EHR

Eligo Health Research has received a grant from the FDA to help support their initiative to extend the value of common data harmonization as it pertains to clinical evidence. The FDA’s grant will assist Eligo in optimizing methodology and facilitate the goals of data sharing.

First phase achievements for this project include mappings of multiple data models (OMOP, PCORnet, i2b2, and Sentinel) to the BRIDG Model (an HL7, CDISC, and ISO standard), a reference data model and terminology bindings. These projects, never before cataloged by the NCI, will be used to support the new project along with HL7’s FHIR standard.
