Bio-Rad and PSC Partnership to Advance Field of Raman Spectroscopy and Simultaneous IR

Bio-Rad Laboratories and Photothermal Spectroscopy Corp (PSC) have developed a partnership in which PSC will incorporate Bio-Rad’s Raman and IR library and identification software with PSC’s products. This partnership aims to offer its customers a dual-technique analysis that utilizes PSC’s Optical Photothermal IR Spectroscopy (O-PTIR) technique.

The O-PTIR technique is capable of sub-micron measurement of IR and Raman spectra via their mIRage+R Infrared and Raman Microscope. Incorporating Bio-Rad’s KnowItAll software enables simultaneous searching of IR and Raman spectral databases.
