Description
The 8 Position S-EVAP-KD combines standard KD evaporation procedures with our unique rotary water bath and manifold, increasing sample throughput and bench space. This evaporator comes with an electronic side control box which enables the operator to program specific bath temperatures and time cycles. It can hold up to eight 500 mL KD flasks. Optional adapter rings are also available, which allow the S-EVAPs to fit 250 mL samples as well.
This unit can accommodate glassware for both central solvent collection and individual solvent collection. The 8 Position S-EVAP-KD can recover up to 97% of starting solvent through individual or central collection. This reduces laboratory emissions and increases laboratory and environmental safety. The S-EVAP-KD can also easily fit within any standard fume hood due to the use of our reduced height glassware. The circular rotating design also allows each sample to be accessed from the front for easy retrieval.
